Denver Post: Broncos rookie running back Ryan Torain returned to
practice Wednesday for the first time since dislocating his left
elbow in practice Aug. 6, but said it is unlikely he will play in
Monday's game. "I doubt it," Torain said. His debut more likely
will come Nov. 2 against Miami, after Denver's bye week. He said
he has been running and working out since getting hurt, but it
takes time to acclimate to actually playing. Torain has not played
in a game since Oct. 6, 2007, after missing the final seven games
of his senior year at Arizona State with a broken toe. "Man, it's
been a long time," Torain said.
