The Detroit Lions have agreed to a two-year contract with former Wayne State running back Joique Bell, who is expected to play Sunday at Green Bay.

Bell, who had been on the New Orleans Saints’ practice squad, is flying to Detroit tonight and will sign his contract Tuesday, pending a physical.

Bell said the Lions want him to come in and be ready for the playoff run. He said he expects to get some carries in Sunday’s regular-season finale against the Packers at Lambeau Field.
