Adam Vinatieri, will open Colts training camp on the physically unable to perform (PUP) list.

Not only did Vinatieri have surgery on his right hip in June, Caldwell revealed the kicker also had arthroscopic surgery on one of his knees during the offseason.

The knee procedure, Caldwell said, was to make certain Vinatieri "wouldn't have any problems'' during the season.
