There will be no pot of gold at the end of the week for Titans rookie receiver Kenny Britt. He won’t play in the preseason opener against the Bills on Sunday night in Canton, Ohio.
Friday was at least a start. The first-round pick practiced for the first time in training camp after being removed from the Physically Unable to Perform list.
Britt’s hamstring injury is healed, though the Titans aren’t going to rush him.
“He did fine and he is right on schedule,’’ Coach Jeff Fisher said. “We will get him to keep conditioning and make sure he gets exercise and we’ll get him on the practice field next week.
