McCoy has high expectations

With Eagles RB Brian Westbrook rehabbing after ankle surgery, McCoy has been working with the first offense all summer, and Eagles fans should get a long look at him against the Patriots.

McCoy has impressed the coaches not only with his decisive running, but with his polished receiving skills and tough blocking.

"I've got my own expectations and they're high," McCoy said. "A lot of people get caught up in everybody else's expectations and they lose focus. I can't do that. I just have to go out and play football and not worry about anything else."

McCoy is one of 15 Eagles expected to play in their first NFL game Thursday when the Eagles open their four-game preseason schedule with a 7 p.m. game against the Patriots.
