New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees left training camp Sunday to attend memorial services for his deceased mother, Mina Brees, who died from undetermined causes Aug. 7 in western Colorado.

Saints Coach Sean Payton said Brees will rejoin the team in Houston on Wednesday when the Black & Gold works against the Texans for two days prior to their exhibition game Saturday night at Reliant Stadium.
