The Buccaneers placed punter Josh Bidwell on injured reserve and signed wide receiver Marcus Maxwell on Monday. Bidwell has been suffering through a painful hip injury since Tuesday and was not showing much progress. Newly signed Dirk Johnson takes over as Tampa Bay's punter in 2009.
