The Bucs kicking battle between Matt Bryant and Mike Nugent has not been much of a tussle.
Bryant has not been able to practice because of a hamstring injury, which should have given Nugent a chance to slam the door on his opposition.
Instead, Nugent has made two of four field goals (missing a 46- and 51-yarder), and has left the door open for Bryant.
"He missed one the other night I would have liked to see him make," Bucs coach Raheem Morris said. "It hit the upright. I would have liked to see him make that one, but he's been doing fine. He kicked the ball off. The kickoff the other night wasn't great, but he'll be fine. He has a powerful leg and that kind of is his strength.
