Bills RB Fred Jackson left practice early on Tuesday after suffering an injury to his left hand. Bills coach Dick Jauron said Jackson was experiencing pain between his left thumb and wrist.
Jackson took a pitch during 11-on-11 drills and appeared to stumble over an offensive lineman who was already on the ground. He walked off the field, went into the training room and didn’t return to practice. Jackson’s thumb was already heavily wrapped.
