The Browns won't come out with a depth chart until next week prior to the preseason opener, but RB Montario Hardesty appears to have a clear edge on Brandon Jackson to be Richardson's backup.

Hardesty is showing burst that injuries prevented him from displaying in 2010 and 2011. On Thursday, he ran a play to the outside and cut quickly inside. He and linebacker Scott Fujita collided with a loud "crack!" Hardesty went down but bounced up quickly. He has been doing that throughout the first week of camp.

Teven Jenkins will be limited.

This is definitely a situation to keep an eye on, as Johnson would have a huge workload if Swift were to miss Week 12. Homer has three rush attempts and zero targets on the year.
