Receiver Terrell Owens took a step forward at practice today, participating in the wide receiver individual drills during the first portion of the workout inside Ralph Wilson Stadium.
Owens ran routes and caught passes from Trent Edwards during roughly a 20-minute portion of practice. He looked to be going full speed on the sprained right toe that has kept him on the sideline. The previous two days, Owens worked out running routes on the side, not with the team. After the individual drills, Owens took his spikes off and put on running shoes and watched the rest of the 7 on 7 and 11 on 11 sessions of practice.
"Watching him, he looked like he moved well," said coach Dick Jauron. "It was a good sign. Now we’ll just see how he feels"
