Cardinals HC Whisenhunt hasn't said it, but Matt Leinart has to be the backup quarterback. He's played three solid games, and Brian St. Pierre missed Friday's game with a sore back. Leinart played the entire second half and completed 24 of 38 for 360 yards and three touchdowns. He had an interception, however, and got away with a couple of other questioanble throws. But he looks comfortable in this offense, and this preseason has to have helped his confidence.

Per Bears head coach Matt Eberflus: Ryan Bates remains in the concussion protocol. Elijah Hicks (ankle) and D'Andre Swift (groin) won't practice.

Teven Jenkins will be limited.

This is definitely a situation to keep an eye on, as Johnson would have a huge workload if Swift were to miss Week 12. Homer has three rush attempts and zero targets on the year.
