Matthew Stafford leaves Lions game with hand injury

Lions QB Matthew Stafford left the team’s third preseason game on Saturday with a left hand injury. The extent of the injury is not known but it does come on Stafford’s non-throwing hand so hopefully this doesn’t mean his status for Week 1 is in jeopardy.

Per Bears head coach Matt Eberflus: Ryan Bates remains in the concussion protocol. Elijah Hicks (ankle) and D'Andre Swift (groin) won't practice.

Teven Jenkins will be limited.

This is definitely a situation to keep an eye on, as Johnson would have a huge workload if Swift were to miss Week 12. Homer has three rush attempts and zero targets on the year.
