Giants RB David Wilson made his share of big plays in Friday’s preseason loss to the Chicago Bears. In Wednesday’s game against the Pats, he’s going to focus on the little things.

“There’s definitely room for improvement,” the rookie tailback said.

Starting for injured veteran Ahmad Bradshaw (hand) on Friday, Wilson rushed for 49 yards.

It was a performance that may have pushed Wilson ahead of D.J. Ware in the tailback pecking order, although Coughlin said Ware’s role will “not necessarily” change.
