New Orleans Saints tight end Jimmy Graham left Sunday night's game against the San Diego Chargers during the second quarter. Graham had his right ankle looked at and taped up by the Saints' training staff late in the second quarter.
Graham didn't play in the final series of the second quarter as he stood on the sideline with his ankle taped and his helmet off. David Thomas took snaps instead. Graham returned in the second half despite being deemed questionable to return.
Graham only had one catch for 4 yards against the Chargers. Graham also left the Saints locker room with a walking boot on his right foot. All interim coach Aaron Kromer said about Graham's injury after the game was, "We'll see."
The Saints are on bye in Week 6 and if Graham was able to play though the injury, he should be ready to go for Week 7.
