Washington Redskins wide receiver Josh Morgan had surgery on his lower right leg on Friday.
The fifth-year veteran this past season played in all 16 games a year after missing all but five contests after breaking his right leg and tearing ligaments near his lower leg/ankle area.
It wasn’t immediately clear what the latest procedure corrected. The Redskins didn’t release any information on Morgan’s surgery, and his agent didn’t immediately respond to inquiries about Morgan’s status.
