The Jaguars officially have an offensive weapon on their roster. And now, he's officially signed his contract.
That would be former Michigan quarterback Denard Robinson -- who is actually listed on the roster as an “offensive weapon" and who just might be Jacksonville's most exciting storyline heading into the season.
Robinson said during offseason practices that he was meeting with the team's running backs, but with his “striking speed and explosiveness,” Robinson could line up as a receiver, a kick-returner or perhaps as some kind of read-option quarterback.
The original plan was to get Robinson 10-15 snaps a game, which isn't a whole lot in the fantasy world. We rank him 84th on our RB list, and he likely won't get drafted before the final round. But keep an eye on him, because on the Jags, he could find himself with an increased role at some point.
