The Bengals signed first round pick TE Tyler Eifert, who helped lead the Fighting Irish to the National Title game as he registered 50 receptions for 685 yards and 4 touchdowns.
In his junior season, he had 63 receptions for 803 yards and five touchdowns, and broke the school’s TE single-season receptions and receiving yards record.
Fantasy Impact:
Eifert, the top TE prospect, to the Bengals in this year's draft was a surprise considering they already had Jermaine Gresham. As a result, Gresham's value takes a hit as a low-end TE1 to now a low-end TE2, as he's currently ranked 18th at the position. Eifert likely cuts into Gresham's production, especially in the red zone.
