Chargers' Thursday practice report:

Two starters returned to practice Thursday – nose tackle Jamal Williams (elbow) in a limited fashion and left tackle Marcus McNeill. Punter Mike Scifres was added to the injury report with a groin strain.

Linebacker Antwan Applewhite (hamstring), center Nick Hardwick (ankle), defensive lineman Travis Johnson (groin), running back Ladainian Tomlinson (ankle) and guard Louis Vasquez (knee) did not practice. Hardwick will not play, and the rest are becoming increasingly less likely to suit up Sunday. Said head coach Norv Turner: “The odds go against you. The guys that practiced today have a better chance. The guys that didn't practice, their chances are going down.”

Per Bears head coach Matt Eberflus: Ryan Bates remains in the concussion protocol. Elijah Hicks (ankle) and D'Andre Swift (groin) won't practice.

Teven Jenkins will be limited.

This is definitely a situation to keep an eye on, as Johnson would have a huge workload if Swift were to miss Week 12. Homer has three rush attempts and zero targets on the year.
