QB Ryan Tannehill and WR Mike Wallace continue to make progress a week into training camp, but the Dolphins’ quarterback and new $60 million receiver are calling for patience.
Tannehill on Saturday looked as sharp as he has all camp, hitting Wallace on a pair of deep throws during 1-on-1 drills against cornerback Brent Grimes.
After practice Wallace said he and Tannehill “are going to progress every day” but that the chemistry isn’t there yet.
“We’ve got a long way to go, man,” Wallace said. “But we have a long time to prepare … we’ll be fine.”
Wallace comes in ranked 23rd but has a chance to finish as a solid WR2 if that chemistry develops. Wallace's ADP is the sixth round - about a round lower than some other WRs around him on our list, which shows owners are taking a shot a littler earlier than his current value.
