With LB Jerod Mayo out with a sprained medial collateral ligament in his right knee, the Patriots could be looking to boost their linebacker depth.
One player who could bail them out at inside 'backer is Junior Seau, who came out of pseudo-retirement last season to play the last four games of the season for the Patriots.
Seau said on SIRIUS satellite radio today that he has not gotten a call from the Patriots in the wake of Mayo's injury, and that he feels that at 40 years old he only has six games in his body.
