AP reports: Patriots running back Sammy Morris did not practice
with the team on Thursday. The 31-year-old Morris, who also sat
out Wednesday's practice, injured his knee during New England's
41-7 victory over the Denver Broncos last Sunday and missed part
of the contest. Morris finished with 16 carries for 138 yards and
one touchdown in the win. Morris has 69 carries for 307 yards and
four rushing touchdowns this season. Has has also caught 12 passes
for 90 yards. New England (4-2) hosts the St. Louis Rams (2-4)
this Sunday at Gillette Stadium.
