Since Rob Housler has entered the lineup, receiver Andre Roberts’ playing time has diminished. In the first two games, he participated in an average of 73 percent of the plays. In the past three games, Roberts has averaged about 55 percent.
Roberts caught 11 passes in the first two games and only two since. The Cardinals have not compensated for the lost production.
“He’s played more outside receiver with Robbie back,” coach Bruce Arians said of Roberts, “so that’s going to probably affect his numbers and is something we’ll look at it.”
Roberts is droppable in 12-team formats given his recent production and playing time. He has talent, but the Cardinals' offense cannot support more than two fantasy receivers given its current state of (poor) play.
