Tom Brady was spotted flexing his throwing hand during last week's loss to the Jets. It appears an answer has been uncovered.

The middle and ring fingers were taped together today, which was spotted in a photo sent out by the team to promote a Make-A-Wish event at Gillette Stadium. It appeared the event happened after the standard Saturday morning walkthrough.

Brady is listed as probable for tomorrow's game with a right shoulder injury, but there hadn't been any other indication of a finger or hand injury at any other point this week.

Brady was asked about the hand Monday during his appearance on WEEI's Dennis & Callahan.

"I’m like everybody," Brady said. "There’s just bumps and bruises. It happens over the course of the football season. We’ll just get treatment like always and be out there and try to execute as well as I can next week. It’s just part of football."

Fantasy Impact:

Brady is expected to play but the fingers taped together could make things uncomfortable for throwing. It's one thing if Brady had been lighting it up the past few weeks, but as owners know that hasn't been the case. He comes in ranked 11th this week, out of the QB1 range for a ten-team league. It could be a tough matchup against the Dolphins.
