It’s impossible to quantify how much Ravens RB Ray Rice has been limited by the strained hip flexor he suffered against the Cleveland Browns in Week 2. He only missed one game.
But especially prior to the game against the Steelers, he clearly wasn’t the same explosive, elusive and dynamic player that he has been for Baltimore the past several years.
Rice says he's feeling better and is ready to do some damage - as he put it. He and Bernard Pierce have each only averaged 2.8 yards a carry this year, with some of that blame on the offensive line. But the team feels the line played better against the Steelers leading up to last week's bye. This week, the Ravens will play the Browns.
