Regardless of what happens with TEs Jermichael Finley and Andrew Quarless (both free agents), the Packers are excited to take a greater look at Brandon Bostick. A former wide receiver at Newberry (S.C.) College, Bostick's game has a striking resemblance to Finley's.
In fact, the speedy Bostick averaged an impressive 17.1 yards on his seven catches this season before suffering a broken foot in Week 15. Bostick was in a boot when the season ended, but said that would be off by February. He expects to be running before March.
"I definitely think I showed I can play with the guys," Bostick said. "I can make plays on offense. I think I showed the coaches I can be a playmaker and can make plays on offense and special teams."
