Coach Jim Caldwell offered cautious assessments regarding the likelihood of several players returning from injuries. A couple of the principals were more direct.
"I'll be good," left offensive tackle Charlie Johnson said.
"Sunday's a go," cornerback Kelvin Hayden offered.
Hayden (hamstring) has missed the past three games, Johnson (knee) one.
Cornerback Marlin Jackson (knee) and wide receiver Anthony Gonzalez (knee) are likely to be out longer, but there is a chance safety Bob Sanders (knee) will play for the first time this season.
"His activity level is increasing," Caldwell said. "He was out there last week and looked good. We'll increase some this week and kind of see where we are toward the end of the week. He's coming along."
