DeAngelo Williams OUT for Week 7

The Panthers have downgraded the status of running back DeAngelo Williams to out for Sunday's game at Green Bay.

The team said Saturday that running back Fozzy Whittaker, is also out.

Fantasy Impact:

Both were listed as doubtful on Friday's injury report. As we stated earlier this week: Jonathan Stewart (knee, probable) took full practice reps all week and is probable for Week 7. Stewart is expected to start in a nice matchup against the Packers. In 11 games that Stewart played without DeAngelo Williams from 2009 to 2010, he averaged over 100 total yards, and provided decent production in his starting stint earlier this season. Consider him a RB3/flex type since the Panther running game isn’t exactly firing on all cylinders.
