Megatron is on the mend.
Lions All-Pro receiver Calvin Johnson told reporters before tonight’s Courage House Dinner at Ford Field that he plans to be back with his teammates the next time they hit the field Nov. 9 against Miami at Ford Field.
“Definitely expect to play,” Johnson said. “Looking forward to the game. Playing some old teammates (former Lions safety Louis Delmas among them), so that makes it all that much better.”
Johnson has missed the Lions last three games with a high ankle sprain and has been limited in two others. We know it's hard to trust a player's comment about his status, but it's believed the Lions held him out Week 8 in London knowing he'd have the bye week as some extra time. The Lions won all three of those games.
