Telling Cardinals WR Anquan Boldin to sit out Sunday's game in Chicago won't be easy. He's a proud, tough man who thinks he can help the Cardinals even if he's less than 100 percent. And he's already battling the notion that he's injury-prone, having played only two complete seasons in the NFL.

"If I'm good enough to play, I'm going to play," he said Monday. "If I'm able to run, I'm going to play football."

Even at, say, 80 percent?

"Yeah, if I'm able to get out there, I'm going to play."

But even Boldin acknowledges the injury isn't likely to improve without rest.

"I don't think it will be 100 percent," he said.

Boldin suffered the sprain against the Texans on Oct. 11 and limped through the next three games. He was effective in the first half against the Giants but could hardly move after halftime. He aggravated the injury in the third quarter last Sunday in a loss to the Panthers and didn't return.
