Dolphins rookie WR Patrick Turner has some raw ability, and Sparano admits the coaches need to find some playing time for this former USC starter despite his erratic practices. But is this third-round pick, who is realistically fifth on the receiver depth chart, REALLY the answer?

Maybe it's time the coaches found out. He flashed with acrobatic catches during training camp, but disappeared once making route adjustments were required. But after 12 games into his rookie season (yes I'm counting the exhibition games) isn't it about time the Dolphins gave him a test drive?

"I do want to get Pat Turner involved," Sparano said. "I don’t want to have questions at the end of the year. I want to get him involved, he’s got to keep working in practice like he is, and at some point his number is going to get called.”
