Bucs WR Antonio Bryant (knee) was held out of practice again today.
Bryant, who still is suffering knee swelling and pain from preseason surgery, commented on his status from the locker room inside One Buc Place before today's practice began.
Bryant on practicing:
“That ain’t up to me. It isn’t my decision. I just do what I’m supposed to do,” said Bryant.
Bryant on the condition of his of knee:
“It hasn’t gotten worse,” said Bryant. “I’m still a lot faster than some of these guys on this team, but it is what it is.”
Bryant on not resting his knee:
“We just doing all the little things because I never really sat out and waited,” Bryant said. “I’ve always kind of been mobile and playing around. In the preseason obviously I was fresh off the surgery so obviously that is what that is. I’ve just always been mobile. I never really sat down and gave it any time to rest and heal. That’s kind of what we did and decided to do.”
Bryant on whether it feels better after resting last week:
“Yeah, even when there wasn’t rest I still went out there and played ball,” said Bryant. “Even through out the changes. We got a lot of things going on we are just trying to get wins, string them together.”
