Indianapolis Star: The Colts are in the market for a running back,
and likely will do their shopping close to home. Dominic Rhodes
was the only healthy RB on the active roster at Monday afternoon's
brief practice. Starter Joseph Addai was dealing with a hamstring
injury while rookie Mike Hart, according to HC Dungy, was missing
after suffering a "significant" injury to his right knee in
Sunday's win over the Ravens. Rhodes is capable of carrying a
heavy load -- he had 25 carries against the Ravens -- but suddenly
depth is a concern. To address the situation, Dungy said "there's
a good chance" the team will sign a RB. A leading candidate is
Chad Simpson, who is on the practice squad. Whomever the Colts add
to the roster for Sunday's game at GB likely will have some
familiarity with their offense. That might include Clifton Dawson,
who saw action in 13 games a year ago but was waived Aug. 26, or
Justin Forsett, who was waived last week.
