On Thursday night in Toronto, Mark Sanchez will get his second crack at the Bills, the team that intercepted him five times in the Jets' overtime loss last month at the Meadowlands - the low point of his young career. He was so bad that Rex Ryan admitted he considered pulling his rookie quarterback from the debacle.
Sanchez downplayed the injury, saying he feels fine, but was limited Monday during a light practice. Ryan called it a "sore" knee, with "no major damage," but he stopped short of saying Sanchez will be fully healthy by game time.
"I know he's sore, so we'll see how that goes," Ryan said. "It's a short week ... but he finished the game. I thought he was still moving around pretty good, so hopefully he'll be 100% when we play."
