PIT QB Ben Roethlisberger - Week 14 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 vs. Baltimore Ravens

Ben Roethlisberger threw for 290 yards and 2 touchdowns with an interception last week in Cincinnati in a tough matchup. Now, he gets another. But this one's at home. He's had at least 290 yards in each of his past three starts and has 12 touchdown passes in his past four games. But he also was held to a season-low 216 passing yards in a win at Baltimore earlier this season. Be careful with your expectations here.

PIT QB Ben Roethlisberger - Week 13 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 at Cincinnati Bengals

Ben Roethlisberger had 351 yards passing—adding a season-high 25 yards rushing—while tossing 4 touchdown passes and 2 interceptions in a win over Green Bay last week. In his past 10 quarters, he now has completed 71% of his passes for 714 yards, 10 touchdowns, and 2 interceptions. That's a passer rating of 112.7. Roethlisberger had 224 yards and 2 touchdowns against the Bengals earlier this season. Cincinnati has a tough pass defense, but Roethlisberger needs 238 yards to become the eighth player in league history to surpass 50,000 for his career. He's a low-end QB1 this week.

PIT QB Ben Roethlisberger - Week 12 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 vs. Green Bay Packers

Ben Roethlisberger threw for 299 yards and 4 touchdowns last week, adding a season-long 10-yard run, just for laughs. Take away a 5-interception debacle against Jacksonville and he has 16 TD passes and just 5 interceptions this season, including 9 TD passes in his past four games. He should be a solid start this week against a crippled Green Bay team.

PIT QB Ben Roethlisberger - Week 11 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 vs. Tennessee Titans

Ben Roethlisberger overcame a slow start to throw for 236 yards and 2 touchdowns with 1 interception last week against Indianapolis. Now, he gets five of his next seven games at home. The Titans allow 236 passing yards per game and have given up 17 touchdown passes. Roethlisberger also should see some things with which he is familiar working against Dick LeBeau's defense. He should have a strong game.

PIT QB Ben Roethlisberger - Week 10 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 at Indianapolis Colts

Coming off his bye week, Roethlisberger gets a gift in the form of the Colts—a team he has torn up in recent seasons. In his past three games against the Colts, Roethlisberger has completed 72% of his passes for 1,107 yards and 13 touchdowns with no interceptions. And that was against Indianapolis defenses that might be better than this one, which is ranked 31st in the league in total yards allowed and 32nd in scoring. The Steelers have gone run-heavy with their offense, but Roethlisberger threw 3 TD passes on just 20 attempts against the Colts last season. He's a sneaky good start in this one.

PIT QB Ben Roethlisberger - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 at Detroit Lions

Ben Roethlisberger looked more like his old self last week against Cincinnati, throwing 2 touchdown passes early and putting up 224 yards before the Steelers went run-heavy in the second half. The Detroit defense has been opportunistic but it will give up touchdown passes, including 5 in its past two games. Roethlisberger won't have Martavis Bryant as the receiver sits this one out for his social media posts, but Roethlisberger wasn't throwing him the ball, anyway. There are worse starts out there if your QB is on a bye.

PIT QB Ben Roethlisberger - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 vs. Cincinnati Bengals

Roethlisberger bounced back from a 5-interception game to throw for 252 yards, 1 touchdown and 1 interception at Kansas City. Now he gets a Cincinnati defense ranked second in the NFL in passing yards allowed. He had at least 259 yards in each of the two meetings with the Bengals last season and threw for 4 combined touchdowns. But Cincinnati has given up just 5 passing TDs this season. Roethlisberger is a QB2 this week, even playing at home.
