QB Ben Roethlisberger officially announced his retirement on Twitter.

Fantasy Impact:

Roethlisberger retires as arguably the best quarterback in team history. The Steelers will now have to decide if Dwayne Haskins and/or Mason Rudolph is the future, or sign/draft Ben's heir apparent.

Fantasy Impact:

Big Ben is dealing with a pec and shoulder injury while Claypool is bothered by a toe. Both are now trending in the right direction for Thursday's contest at Minnesota, a key game for both teams in terms of making the playoffs.

Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger would not have participated in the session, as he continues to deal with pectoral and right shoulder injuries.

Receiver Chase Claypool (toe) also would not have practiced.

Fantasy Impact:

It's a quick turnaround for the Steelers in Week 14 with a Thursday game against Vikings. Roethlisberger has been limited or not participated in several Wednesday practices this season. Claypool played just 63 percent of Pittsburgh’s offensive snaps on Sunday, making a pair of catches for 52 yards.
