SF WR Brandon Aiyuk - Week 10 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 at Jacksonville Jaguars

Brandon Aiyuk caught five of his nine targets for 109 yards against the Bengals before the bye last week. Aiyuk has been steady, and he’s averaging 7.4 targets per game this season, but he hasn’t dominated with Deebo Samuel out as we may have expected. Aiyuk’s still getting plenty of looks and has big-play ability, however, so the consistent opportunities should lead to fantasy production sooner or later.

Coming off a bye, Aiyuk will face a Jacksonville defense that ranks 23rd in aFPA to opposing wide receivers. Start Aiyuk as a solid WR1 option with a high floor against a struggling secondary. Expect another consistent stream of targets to head his way.

SF WR Brandon Aiyuk - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 vs. Cincinnati Bengals

Brandon Aiyuk had a nice first half against the Vikings last week, and then kind of disappeared in the second half as the 49ers lost their second straight game. Still, he finished with five catches for 57 yards and was targeted six times. Aiyuk hasn’t seen fewer than six targets in any game this season and stands to get plenty of attention with Deebo Samuel still hurt.

This week, Aiyuk has a nice matchup against a Cincinnati defense that ranks 21st in aFPA to opposing wide receivers. Expect a bounce-back game from the talented Aiyuk, even with Sam Darnold starting at quarterback. We have him ranked as a quality WR1 option and he should be active in all leagues.

SF WR Brandon Aiyuk - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 at Minnesota Vikings

Brandon Aiyuk was limited to just four catches last week against the Browns, but he managed to gain 76 yards anyway and was targeted a season-high 10 times. Aiyuk no doubt benefited from injuries to Deebo Samuel and Christian McCaffrey, and should continue to see more targets with Samuel expected to miss Week 7.

This week, Aiyuk has an excellent matchup against a Minnesota defense that ranks 26th in aFPA to opposing wide receivers. Aiyuk could also see some extra targets thrown his way if Deebo Samuel is out, and if Christian McCaffrey is less than 100%. Aiyuk has been good while the 49ers have been healthy, he should be extra good this week in a nice matchup with potential for more opportunities. Start him in all formats.

SF WR Brandon Aiyuk - Week 6 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 at Cleveland Browns

Brandon Aiyuk led the team with seven targets last week in a blowout victory over the Cowboys. He ended up with four catches for 58 yards, as George Kittle and Kyle Juszczyk caught all of Brock Purdy’s four touchdown passes. Aiyuk hasn’t scored a touchdown since scoring two in Week 1, but he’s still getting at least six targets per game and has a nice rapport with Purdy.

This week, Aiyuk has a tough matchup against the Browns, who rank number one in aFPA to opposing wide receivers. The 49ers offense is explosive, with each of the weapons getting a fair share of opportunities to shine, but Aiyuk seems to be the most consistent target in the offense. We have him ranked as a WR2 this week and he’s worth starting in all league formats.

SF WR Brandon Aiyuk - Week 5 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5 vs. Dallas Cowboys

Brandon Aiyuk had a nice game against the Cardinals last week, catching all six balls thrown his way for 148 yards. Aiyuk seems to have passed Deebo Samuel in the target tree, and his rapport with Brock Purdy has carried over from last year.

This week, Aiyuk faces a Dallas defense that ranks 12th in aFPA to opposing wide receivers. While fantasy managers should be careful in a less-than-ideal matchup, Aiyuk’s usage makes him a must-start every week he’s healthy. We have him ranked as a low-end WR1 option this week. Start him.

SF WR Brandon Aiyuk - Week 4 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 4 vs. Arizona Cardinals

Brandon Aiyuk missed last week with a shoulder injury, but Ronnie Bell scored a touchdown in his absence. Aiyuk should continue to be a prominent part of the offense when he’s healthy, and his Week 1 explosion shouldn’t be ignored, as long as his health checks out.

This week, Aiyuk faces a Cardinals defense that ranks 26th in aFPA to opposing wide receivers. As long as he remains on track to play, Aiyuk should be considered a solid WR2 option in a great matchup. Start him.

SF WR Brandon Aiyuk - Week 3 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 3 vs. New York Giants

Brandon Aiyuk came back to earth last week after an explosive Week 1, catching three balls for 43 yards on six targets. Aiyuk should rebound as a consistent part of this offense, and fantasy managers shouldn’t be too concerned about a down week from the fourth-year playmaker.

This week, Aiyuk faces the Giants, who have fallen behind in games the first two weeks of the season, making it hard to estimate how well they’re secondary has played. Still, they allowed six catches, 54 yards, and a touchdown to Marquise Brown last Sunday and Aiyuk should be able to find space to operate against them. Aiyuk is dealing with a shoulder injury, so check the inactives before the game Thursday night, but if he’s active, we expect WR2 numbers.

Update: Aiyuk is not expected to play, so be sure to get him out of lineups.
