Scouting report

DAL WR CeeDee Lamb - Week 15 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 15 at Buffalo Bills

CeeDee Lamb continues to be the focal point of the Cowboys passing attack, although he had a quiet-ish game against the Eagles. Lamb caught six of his 10 targets for 71 yards and a touchdown, earning him 16.1 Half-PPR points and a WR9 finish. Lamb is the WR2 in average points per game this season.

Lamb has another potential boom week in Week 15 against a Bills team ranking 22nd in aFPA to wide receivers. He’s become one of the most bankable fantasy assets across the entire league, and can easily be projected for high-end WR1 numbers this week.

DAL WR CeeDee Lamb - Week 14 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 vs. Philadelphia Eagles

When Dak Prescott shines, CeeDee Lamb also shines. This was evident in Week 13, with Lamb posting 12 catches for 116 yards and a touchdown on 17 targets, giving him 26.6 Half-PPR points. Lamb is the WR2 in points per game this season.

Lamb has another eruption spot in Week 14, with the Eagles ranking dead last in aFPA to wide receivers. This game should be a shootout, and we'd expect Lamb to feast very heartily.

DAL WR CeeDee Lamb - Week 13 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 vs. Seattle Seahawks

CeeDee Lamb didn't exactly feast upon the Commanders on Thanksgiving. He saw nine targets, which was nice, but he only caught four of them for 53 yards. A touchdown helped rescue his day and give him 15.3 Half-PPR points, but he was only the WR16 in Week 13.

We should expect more from Lamb in his matchup with a Seahawks defense ranking 18th in aFPA to wide receivers. But it would help if the Cowboys' passing attack were slightly more concentrated after 10 players caught at least one pass last week. Still, Lamb can be started with confidence as an elite WR1.

DAL WR CeeDee Lamb - Week 12 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 vs Washington Commanders

CeeDee Lamb had a quiet game by his high recent standards against the Panthers in Week 11. He led the team in targets as per usual, but only saw nine looks, which he converted into six grabs for 38 yards and a touchdown. Lamb was the WR19 in Half PPR scoring, a long way down from his seasonal average of WR5.

The good news for Lamb and his fantasy managers is that the Cowboys face the friendliest fantasy defense for wide receivers in the entire league on Thanksgiving. The Commanders rank dead last in aFPA to wideouts. We are looking at a genuine explosion spot, with Lamb easily in contention to lead all WRs in fantasy points in Week 12.

DAL WR CeeDee Lamb - Week 11 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 at Carolina Panthers

If Dak Prescott is the hottest quarterback in fantasy right now, then CeeDee Lamb is probably the hottest wide receiver. Lamb helped himself to another 34 Half-PPR points last week, finishing as the WR2 behind only Keenan Allen. Lamb is averaging a whopping 18.2 points per game and is the WR4 for the season in average points per game.

The Panthers are much weaker against the run than the pass and rank second in aFPA to wide receivers in 2023. But the Cowboys have decided to let Dak cook, and when Dak cooks, Lamb sizzles. He's a safe WR1 option, and you can start him and feel nothing but joy in doing so this week.

DAL WR CeeDee Lamb - Week 10 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 vs. New York Giants

If Dak Prescott is on a heater right now, then the very same can be said of CeeDee Lamb. Over his last three games, Lamb has 466 yards. No other player between Weeks 6 and 9 has more. Lamb racked up 22.6 Half-PPR points last week and finished as the WR3, boosting him to WR6 in points per game this season.

The Giants have not been awful against wide receivers this season in fantasy football, but they've not been great either, ranking 15th in aFPA. They are extremely down bad at present, however, and there is a real danger of the Cowboys doing whatever they like to them. What they like, based on their current form, is feeding Lamb. He should be an elite producer this week.

DAL WR CeeDee Lamb - Week 9 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 at Philadelphia Eagles

It’s been a great couple of weeks in “real” football and fantasy for CeeDee Lamb and his managers. He liked his 15.2 Half-PPR points against the Chargers in Week 6, but we loved his 35.0 against the Rams. Lamb caught 12 of his 14 targets for 158 yards and two touchdowns. All of these were new season-high marks for Lamb, who is now averaging a robust 15.37 fantasy points per game.

Lamb is in a prime spot to keep the good times rolling this week in a matchup with the pass funnel Eagles defense. The Eagles rank 1st in aFPA to running backs, but 31st in aFPA to quarterbacks and wide receivers. Lamb’s fantasy managers should expect fireworks this week.
