Week 9 at Carolina Panthers

Chris Olave gets a matchup against a Panthers defense this week that has allowed an opposing wide receiver to eclipse 15 PPR Points in every contest this season.

Olave is our WR11 and should be in every lineup this weekend.

Week 8 at Los Angeles Chargers

Chris Olave has been dropped in the rankings to WR41 for Week 8. With Spencer Rattler projected for just 164 passing yards, it's hard to give Olave much of a chance at production here.

In the "Rattler era", Olave has turned his five targets into 15 yards. He's a flex candidate, in theory, but hopefully you have better options elsewhere.

Week 6 vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Chris Olave is our WR28 this week. He's back to back with teammate Rashid Shaheed but they're a bit lower than usual with Spencer Rattler making his debut. After seeing his workload grow over the first month, he took a step back in Week 5.

The Buccaneers have allowed a 20+ PPR Point performance to an opposing wide receiver in nearly 60% of their games dating back to the start of 2023.

Week 5 at Kansas City Chiefs

Chris Olave posted season highs in targets, receptions, and receiving yardage in Week 4. It was the first time he earned double-digit targets on the year. The Saints have shown a desire to get him more involved in each passing week and a matchup against the Chiefs should necessitate some extra Derek Carr passes.

He's a solid WR2 at 18th this week and should be in all lineups.

NO WR Chris Olave - Week 4 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 4 at Atlanta Falcons

Chris Olave finally showed why he deserved his draft season ADP in Week 3. He put it all together, turning all six of his targets into receptions. Olave gained 86 yards and scored a touchdown for his highest fantasy output of the year.

He comes into this week as our WR19. Olave is a solid WR2 option again this week.

Week 3 vs Philadelphia Eagles

Chris Olave is our WR17 this week. He's just one spot above teammate Rashid Shaheed. That fact is a bit frustrating for his fantasy managers but Olave took a step forward in Week 2 and should continue to see his role expand.

The Saints just haven't needed to throw much but a tilt against the Eagles should lead to a busier day through the air.

Week 1 at Dallas Cowboys

Chris Olave didn't have the start that his fantasy managers were hoping for. He only managed to earn two targets. Granted, it was a blowout so Derek Carr didn't have to throw much. But, when you see the Saints put up 47 points, you imagine that Olave would have something to do with that.

Olave only had one game under five targets a season ago, so it's not time to hit the panic button just yet. He's our WR23 and should be in all lineups.
