Scouting report

HOU RB Chris Polk - Week 18, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 18 vs. Kansas City
Last Sunday versus the Jags, Chris Polk had just three carries for four yards. While he had double-digit rushing attempts in three of the previous four games, it will likely be Alfred Blue and Jonathan Grimes as the Texans top RBs on Saturday in the playoffs. Polk carried the ball five times for 22 yards in the Week 1 loss to Kansas City.

HOU RB Chris Polk - Week 17, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 17 vs. Jacksonville
Last week in the win at Tennessee, Chris Polk was given the ball 11 times for 38 yards. Alfred Blue led the Texans with 15 carries, as Houston had 42 rushes, controlling the clock for over 36 minutes. Chris finished with eight carries for 37 yards in the win at Jacksonville in October, but doesn’t make for a good start in the rematch.

HOU RB Chris Polk - Week 16, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 16 at Tennessee
With a healthy Alfred Blue back for the Texans, Chris Polk was given only four carries for six yards last week at the Colts. He carried the ball eight times for 18 yards in the 20-6 victory over Tennessee earlier this season, but there’s no reason for him to be in your starting lineup on Sunday.

HOU RB Chris Polk - Week 15, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 15 at Indianapolis
Last Sunday in the loss to New England, Chris Polk received a team-high 11 rushing attempts for 34 yards. He also caught two passes for 14 yards, but the Texans offense struggled for most of the night. In October versus the Colts, Polk had a five yard carry and two receptions for 17 yards. With Alfred Blue expected back in the mix on Sunday, none of the Houston RBs makes for a wise fantasy start.

HOU RB Chris Polk - Week 14, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 vs. New England
With Alfred Blue battling a sore back last week versus the Bills, Chris Polk took advantage of the opportunity to run for 61 yards on 12 carries and catch an 11-yard TD pass. It was Polk’s best outing of the year and likely earned him some more playing time, regardless of Blue’s status. However, he isn’t a good fantasy RB option facing the No. 11 defense against the run.

HOU RB Chris Polk - Week 13, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 at Buffalo
Last Sunday versus the Saints Chris Polk had six rushes for 21 yards. The Texans totaled 38 carries for 167 yards, with Alfred Blue leading the way. There is little reason for Polk to even be on your fantasy roster.

HOU RB Chris Polk - Week 11, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 vs. New York Jets
The Bengals slowed the Texans ground attack last Monday night, as Chris Polk ran for just 14 yards on four carries. Alfred Blue and Jonathan Grimes combined for 55 yards on 18 rushes, so none of the Houston RBs have been too impressive. Leave Polk, who was slowed by a hamstring injury this week, on your bench against a Jets team that has been solid against the run.
