LAR TE Colby Parkinson - Week 10 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 vs. Miami Dolphins

Colby Parkinson is outside of the top 25 tight ends this week. The Dolphins have been 8th aFPA against tight ends this season and with both Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua healthy you can find a better tight end option elsewhere.

LAR TE Colby Parkinson - Week 9 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 at Seattle Seahawks

It's a solid matchup for Colby Parkinson as the Seahawks are 28th aFPA against tight ends, but with the return of Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua, unfortunately, Parkinson becomes more of an afterthought in this passing game. He's a desperate TE2 in TE premium leagues, but you likely have better options in standard leagues.

LAR TE Colby Parkinson - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 vs. Minnesota Vikings

Colby Parkinson has been running many routes but has consistently struggled to be more than the 4th option in the passing game if that. The sledding only gets tougher with Cooper Kupp returning this week.

While Minnesota is 22nd aFPA against tight ends, they are weaker against wide receivers and with a returning Kupp and a stable of solid fill-in's at receiver, it wouldn't shock you to see Parkinson be the biggest fantasy loser due to the return of Kupp. He's a back-end TE2 if you're desperate in a TE premium league, but in standard leagues you likely have better options on waivers.

LAR TE Colby Parkinson - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 vs. Las Vegas Raiders

Colby Parkinson separated himself from the rest of the tight ends on the Rams roster and became a consistent target before the bye, but with the return of Cooper Kupp on the horizon that will significantly hinder Parkinson's upside.

The matchup against the Raiders, 7th aFPA against tight ends, isn't the best. This puts Parkinson more in the back-end TE2 conversation between the tough matchup and the return of Cooper Kupp. Ideally you'd have a better option, but in TE premium leagues I can see the appeal.

LAR TE Colby Parkinson - Week 5 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5 vs Green Bay Packers

Last week, Colby Parkinson saw 7 targets against the Bears which was the second-most on the Rams. His role seems super secure right now, but with the tight end landscape the way it is right now, basically whoever catches a touchdown will finish as a TE1 on the week. Is this the week for Parkinson?

Parkinson is more likely a TE2 and in TE premium scoring he's a solid start. It might be tougher to get there in standard 1TE leagues unless you had Dallas Goedert or Sam LaPorta and picked Parkinson up off waivers.

LAR TE Colby Parkinson - Week 4 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 4 at Chicago Bears

Colby Parkinson saw 5 targets last week, but didn't really turn it into much production. Parkinson is a middle of the pack TE2 this week with a significantly better matchup than any of the Rams receivers this week. The Bears are 27th aFPA against tight ends, but it's still not a great matchup overall for the Rams offense outside of Kyren Williams. He's startable in 2TE leagues or TE Premium leagues, but he's probably best left on the bench in standard leagues.

LAR TE Colby Parkinson - Week 3 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 3 vs San Francisco 49ers

As options keep dropping, the one thing Colby Parkinson has going for him is his opportunity. As one of the few remaining healthy players on the Rams' offense, he at least has that going for him. After a disappointing game against the Cardinals though, you could be forgiven if thinking health and opportunity aren't enough to sustain fantasy success in this Rams offense given all the injuries. And you would probably be correct.

Parkinson is startable in TE premium leagues or 2TE leagues but should be left on the bench in other formats. It would be tough to even consider him in the flex no matter how desperate you are given the landscape at tight end and the Rams offense in general.
