Scouting report

NYG WR Corey Washington - Week 16, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 16 – Corey Washington vs. St. Louis
Corey Washington actually caught a pass last week against Washington, putting up a total of four yards on his one target, one catch performance. There aren’t a whole lot of balls to go around in New York with rookie Odell Beckham getting nearly half the targets last week, and there’s no reason to think Washington will gain fantasy value this week.

NYG WR Corey Washington - Week 15, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 15 – Corey Washington vs. Washington
Corey Washington didn’t catch a pass last week and remains fourth on the depth chart. His size keeps him relevant, but until he becomes an active part of the Giants passing game, it’s hard to recommend adding him to a fantasy roster.

NYG WR Corey Washington - Week 14, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 – Corey Washington vs. Tennessee
Corey Washington didn’t catch a pass last week and he remains a long shot to produce solid fantasy numbers in any given week. Owners should leave him on waivers until he proves he’ll get consistent snaps and targets that translate into fantasy production.

NYG WR Corey Washington - Week 13, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 – Corey Washington vs. Jacksonville
Corey Washington didn’t catch a pass last week and has really only been given a legit chance to shine in garbage time in the past. He has the physical tools to succeed, but until we see consistent production, there’s no reason to add him to a fantasy roster.

NYG WR Corey Washington - Week 12, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 – Corey Washington vs. Dallas
Corey Washington didn’t catch a pass last week, but he continues to get red zone looks occasionally due to his size. A time might come when he can be a viable fantasy option, especially in touchdown only leagues, but outside of being a deep, deep, dynasty league stash, he should remain on waivers until his role expands.

NYG WR Corey Washington - Week 11, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 – Corey Washington vs. San Francisco
Corey Washington didn’t catch a pass last week after a nice coming out party in Week 9. Washington is a big target who still has value in dynasty leagues as a long term red zone option in New York, but until he shows consistent production, he shouldn’t be in your lineup.

NYG WR Corey Washington - Week 10, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 – Corey Washington vs. Seattle
Corey Washington finally caught some passes last week, including a garbage time touchdown in the red zone. After a season of expecting the big guy to earn some catches, he finally produced last week, with four receptions, 48 yards, and the aforementioned score. Still, his playing time happened after the Colts had already blown out the Giants, making it unlikely that he’ll repeat the performance. Still, dynasty leaguers take note of the young red zone target in extremely deep leagues as a stash option.
