CHI RB D'Andre Swift - Week 12 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 vs. Minnesota Vikings
After the first three weeks of the season, it seemed like we had the typical, inefficient D'Andre Swift on our hands, but he has exploded since then, finding the end zone five times en route to an RB6 placement over that span. He gets another a pretty tough matchup to kick off a brutal stretch of games here in Week 12, so lower expectations to the low-end RB2 range.

CHI RB D'Andre Swift - Week 11 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 vs. Green Bay Packers
After the first three weeks of the season, it seemed like we had the typical, inefficient D'Andre Swift on our hands, but he has exploded since then, finding the end zone four times en route to an RB3 placement over that span. He gets another decent matchup here in Week 11 against the Packers run defense that ranks 12th in RB aFPA. Consider him a low-end RB2.

Week 10 vs. New England Patriots
After the first three weeks of the season, it seemed like we had the typical, inefficient D'Andre Swift on our hands, but he has exploded since then, finding the end zone four times en route to an RB3 placement over that span. He gets another good matchup here in Week 10 against the Patriots run defense that ranks in RB aFPA. Consider him a fringe RB1/2.

Week 9 @ Arizona Cardinals
After the first three weeks of the season, it seemed like we had the typical, inefficient D'Andre Swift on our hands but he has exploded in his last four games, finding the end zone and 18+ fantasy points in each. He gets another pretty good matchup here in Week 9, and the bye week clearly didn't do anything to impact his hold over the backfield. He's a locked-in RB2 once again.

CHI RB D'Andre Swift - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 @ Washington Commanders
After the first three weeks of the season, it seemed like we had the typical, inefficient D'Andre Swift on our hands but he has exploded in his last three games, finding the end zone and 19+ fantasy points in each. He gets another pretty good matchup here in Week 8 and the bye week seems unlikely to have done anything to his hold over the backfield. Consider him an RB2 once more.

CHI RB D'Andre Swift - Week 6 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 vs. Jacksonville Jaguars
D'Andre Swift came out of nowhere to deliver 160+ total yards and a touchdown, resulting in 26.0 half-PPR points in Week 4, before delivering another 19.0 points in Week 5. While we won't argue with the production, his yards per carry did fall below 3.5 for the fourth time in five games, with just one rush longer than eight yards (18).

Still, he caught a huge 42-yard pass and looks to be more entrenched in his job than the first three weeks of the season. Look for him to produce another RB2 week against a soft Jaguars defense.

CHI RB D'Andre Swift - Week 5 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5 vs. Carolina Panthers
D'Andre Swift came out of nowhere to deliver 160+ total yards and a touchdown, resulting in 26.0 half-PPR points, more than doubling his to-date numbers. When we dig a little closer, we see that he still has 3.04 YPC on the season, which should cause some concern for sustainable efficiency. You can't possibly bench him after Week 4's performance (and this matchup), but don't be surprised if he delivers another clunker at some point.
