Lions’ HC Dan Campbell told reporters that rookie RB Jahmyr Gibbs will play vs. the Ravens and added this: “Certainly I think he’s going to need to take the load of (the work)….I’d like to say we’re going to be careful with him, but the reality is we need him.”

Fantasy Impact:

Dan Campbell has been pretty straight forward with his coach speak this year, which means we can't leave Gibbs out of lineups this weekend. Craig Reynolds can be considered an RB3 or FLEX play, as he may still garner the David Montgomery goal-line work.

The New Orleans Saints placed RB Tony Jones (ankle) on IR and signed RBs Devine Ozigbo and Ryquell Armstead, according to Luke Johnson of NOLA.com.

Fantasy Impact:

In the interim, Ty Montgomery will see reps at running back while players such as Ozigbo and Armstead get up to speed.

Jaguars RB Devine Ozigbo returned to practice Wednesday after suffering a hamstring injury late in training camp.

Fantasy Impact:

The news is notable as James Robinson has seized control of the Jacksonville backfield in recent weeks. If Ozigbo is healthy enough to play this weekend, it remains to be seen what kind of role he will have for the Jaguars. Ozigbo is an unproven commodity so Robinson shareholders shouldn't worry too much yet, but the addition of a new member to the backfield is always concerning in fantasy.
