SEA WR DK Metcalf - Week 9 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 vs Tampa Bay
DK Metcalf had three receptions last week but for only 13 yards which was his second-lowest total of the season. He still has not caught more than four passes in a game and although he has been consistently involved in the Seattle passing game. the overall numbers have kept the rookie from climbing the rankings

It's a great matchup for Week 9 as the Bucs come to Seattle. They are ranked dead last in aFPA to wide receivers. This could finally be the game that Metcalf puts up career-high numbers so start him in all leagues and formats as a high-end WR2.

SEA WR DK Metcalf - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 at Atlanta
DK Metcalf caught four passes for 53 yards last week. The four catches have been his season-high on several occasions. Metcalf is having a good rookie season, and a solid fantasy year.

Metcalf has a great matchup this week against Atlanta who is 28th in aFPA to wide receivers. He is definitely in play as a WR3 or flex for Week 8. The matchup pushes up his fantasy value and he should be in your lineup.

SEA WR DK Metcalf - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 vs Baltimore
DK Metcalf had his best performance since Week 1 with four receptions for 69 yards. This is probably the ceiling for the rookie although it wouldn't surprise us if he had one or two breakout games considering the talent is there.

The Seahawks face the Ravens who are 24th in aFPA to wide receivers. With his current stats, he is a borderline WR3 in most leagues. If you have a starting lineup that needs a third receiver, he is worth a shot considering a favorable matchup.

SEA WR DK Metcalf - Week 6 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 at Cleveland
DK Metcalf only has 12 receptions this season. But he did get his second touchdown of the season this past Sunday. QB Russell Wilson has been spreading the ball around, but that the rookie hasn't been a big beneficiary at this point.

Metcalf could end up being a very good receiver in the NFL but for now, he is just not putting the numbers up yet in his young career. Until we see more, he should stay on the bench for Week 6.

SEA WR DK Metcalf - Week 5 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5 vs Los Angeles Rams
DK Metcalf was only targeted four times last Sunday and that produced only one reception for six yards, his lowest production of the season. Seattle was relying on the running game more last week and that affected all the skill players in the passing game.

Metcalf faces the Rams this Thursday, who are ranked 13th in aFPA to wide receivers, We expect the passing game to be more prevalent, but Metcalf's numbers over the first quarter of the season have been low with the exception of his yards per catch which doesn't affect fantasy numbers directly.

Keep Metcalf on the bench for the prime time matchup in Week 5. We need to see him start getting more catches in games for his fantasy status to make him more relevant.

SEA WR DK Metcalf - Week 4 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 4 at Arizona
One thing that has stood out for rookie WR DK Metcalf is he is averaging 24 yards per reception. He has yet to get big numbers in total receptions, but the yardage is there despite limited catches.

Metcalf will face Arizona in Week 4 who is ranked 22nd in aFPA to wide receivers. One of these games he is going to catch five to eight balls and his numbers will be big. Start Metcalf against the Cards as a low-end WR2. He should get more and more involved in the passing game every week.

SEA WR DK Metcalf - Week 3 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 3 vs New Orleans
DK Metcalf's career is off to a good start with seven catches but for an impressive 150 yards. He also scored his first career touchdown last week in Pittsburgh. Metcalf has stepped into the Seahawks offense nicely as a rookie and we can expect a big day here and there, but also some consistent numbers like he has posted the first two weeks of his career.

Metcalf has a good matchup for Week 3 against the Saints who were 25th in aFPA to wide receivers in 2018. Metcalf has earned a starting spot in your fantasy lineup as a WR3 this Sunday against New Orleans.
