Scouting report

WAS QB Dwayne Haskins - Week 16 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 16 vs. Carolina Panthers

Dwayne Haskins drew the start last week and was OK, finishing with 295 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions. It's possible Alex Smith returns this week as he fully practiced on Friday. No matter who starts, they won't be a great fantasy option. Washington quarterbacks haven't put up huge numbers this year, and it may get worse this week as Terry McLaurin could be inactive. Haskins or Smith wouldn't be the absolute worst option at QB this week, but there are plenty of better options available in Week 16.

WAS QB Dwayne Haskins - Week 4 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 4 vs. Baltimore Ravens

Dwayne Haskins scored two touchdowns for the first time this season in Week 3, but that was negated by the fact he also threw three interceptions. He also finished with just 224 passing yards as he's only topped 250 passing yards once in his 10 career starts. He faces a Baltimore defense that was just torched by Kansas City, but Washington's offense is not comparable to the Chiefs. Haskins should be viewed as one of the worst QB options available in Week 4.

WAS QB Dwayne Haskins - Week 3 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 3 at Cleveland Browns

Dwayne Haskins had another below-average outing in Week 2, finishing with 223 yards and a touchdown. He's now finished with one touchdown or less in six of his nine starts, which doesn't exactly equate to fantasy success. He's the No. 28 QB in fantasy scoring so far this season. While he does draw a favorable matchup against the Browns this week, he should still be viewed as a poor option for fantasy.

WAS QB Dwayne Haskins - Week 2 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 2 at Arizona Cardinals

As expected, Dwayne Haskins had a weak performance in Week 1, finishing with 178 yards and one touchdown. This was similar to his 2019 season where he topped 200 yards in just two of his seven starts. One interesting note is Haskins ran the ball seven times, which is more than any game in his rookie year. It's worth paying attention to if this trend continues. Still, Haskins is a weak fantasy play, even in a favorable matchup against Arizona. There are better options available in Week 2.

WAS QB Dwayne Haskins - Week 1 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 1 vs. Philadelphia Eagles

Dwayne Haskins returns as Washington's starter after a not-so-good rookie year, at least from a fantasy perspective. He finished with zero touchdowns in five of his nine games played and had nine total turnovers. He'll be playing behind a poor offensive line (rated 29th by PFF) with limited weapons around him. Unless Haskins shows something this week, there's really no reason to start him in fantasy. He should be viewed as one of the worst quarterback options this week against the Eagles.

WAS QB Dwayne Haskins - Week 16 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 16 vs. New York Giants

Dwayne Haskins had his best game of the season last week, finishing with 261 yards (career-high) and two touchdowns. He even added 26 yards on the ground. He could have another good performance this week in a favorable matchup against the Giants, who have allowed the fifth-most fantasy points to quarterbacks over the last four weeks. Still, Haskins has just two games above 200 yards and just two games with two scores. There should be better fantasy options available in Week 16.

WAS QB Dwayne Haskins - Week 15 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 15 vs. Philadelphia Eagles

Dwyane Haskins had another disappointing game last week as he continues to be irrelevant in fantasy. He hasn't completed 20 passes in any game, has only topped 200 yards once and has a 3-7 TD-INT ratio. You shouldn't even be reading this honestly. I don't know how you got to Week 15 in fantasy while considering if you should play Dwayne Haskins this week. Don't do it, leave him on waivers.
