Fantasy Upside
Garrett Wilson checks in as our WR7 heading into the season. We have him projected for over 1,100 yards on just under 90 receptions. Wilson has been saddled with brutal quarterback play across the first two years of his career. If he can gain Aaron Rodgers' trust in the red zone it's not hard to see how his projection of six touchdowns could be low. Wilson only has seven touchdowns in his career thus far but if he can get closer to double-digit scores in his third year we could be looking at a Top 5 finish.
Fantasy Downside
Outside of injury, his downside case is tied to a Breece Hall explosion in 2024. From a team philosophy perspective, it's easy to envision the Jets leaning heavily on the run game. The emphasis on the running backs could dry up scoring opportunities for Wilson. He could fall out of the Top 10 at the position if he sees a dip of just 8-10 receptions.
2024 Bottom Line
All signs point to Wilson paying off his ADP given a healthy Rodgers. He has shown that he can make plays all over the field. Wilson looks well on his way to another 1,000-yard season and a top fantasy finish.
