BAL WR Marquise Brown - Week 10 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 at Miami Dolphins

Marquise “Hollywood” Brown had a nice game last week, catching nine of his 12 targets for 116 yards. Brown has double-digit fantasy points in all but two games this season and is sixth in the NFL in receiving yards. He’s enjoying the breakout season many were hoping for last year and doesn’t seem to be hurt by the presence of rookie first-round pick Rashod Bateman in the lineup.

This week, Brown faces a Dolphins defense that ranks 29th in aFPA to opposing wide receivers. Miami has been nicked up and underperforming all season defensively, and with Brown’s production and target share, he should be considered a solid WR1 option in all leagues. Start him.

BAL WR Marquise Brown - Week 9 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 vs. Minnesota Vikings

Marquise “Hollywood” Brown is having a great season so far. He had five catches for 80 yards and a touchdown against the Bengals before the bye last week, and he’s on pace for 1,375 yards and 14.6 touchdowns, which would both be career highs. His playmaking is one thing, but he’s also getting a ton of targets, with 8.1 per game.

This week, Brown faces a Vikings defense that ranks 27th in aFPA to opposing wide receivers. It should be another excellent outing for Brown, with a good chance to find the end zone once again. Start him as a solid WR2 option in all formats.

BAL WR Marquise Brown - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 vs. Cincinnati Bengals

Marquise “Hollywood” Brown followed up a strong Week 5 performance with just four catches on five targets and 35 yards last week. It was largely because the Ravens didn’t need to throw the ball a ton in a 34-6 thrashing of the Chargers, but it’s worth noting that rookie Rashod Bateman had six targets in his first regular-season game as a pro.

This week, Brown should get back on track against a Bengals defense that ranks 16th in aFPA to opposing wide receivers this season. The Bengals can put up points in a hurry, so I would expect a closer game, leading to more pass attempts and more production from the Ravens’ receiving corps. We have Brown ranked as a fringe WR1 option this week, and he should be active in all formats.

BAL WR Marquise Brown - Week 6 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 vs. Los Angeles Chargers

Marquise “Hollywood” Brown lived up to his name on Monday night against the Colts, catching nine of 10 balls for 125 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Brown has had at least one touchdown in all but one game this season, and he’s averaging 7.6 targets per game. There is some concern about his target share decreasing with Rashod Bateman being added to the lineup, but for now, he’s the main receiver in Baltimore.

It’s a tough matchup for Brown this week against a Chargers defense that ranks second in aFPA to opposing wide receivers. Still, it’s likely we have another high-scoring game against a potent Chargers’ passing attack, making another 10 targets very possible for Brown. We have him ranked as a solid WR2 option this week.

BAL WR Marquise Brown - Week 5 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5 vs. Indianapolis Colts

After some key drops in Week 3, Marquise “Hollywood” Brown caught a long touchdown last week against the Broncos, ending up with four receptions on five targets for 91 yards. Despite his drops in Week 3, Brown has a touchdown in three out of four games this year and hasn’t had less than five targets in any outing. We’ll see if the addition of Rashod Bateman to the lineup affects Brown’s target share, but for now, he’s still a major part of this offense and has a nose for the end zone.

This week, he’ll face a Colts defense that ranks 18th in aFPA to opposing wide receivers. Brown’s ability to find the end zone and his target share make him worth considering in a game where it should be easier to throw than to run. We have him ranked as a solid WR2 option, and he should be active in all formats. Start him.

BAL WR Marquise Brown - Week 4 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 4 at Denver Broncos

Marquise “Hollywood” Brown had some key drops last week in a forgettable day for the Baltimore offense. He ended the day with three catches on seven targets for 53 yards. Brown had been pretty solid thus far this season, and the targets should still be there, making this kind of a buy-low moment for him.

That being said, be wary of his matchup this week against a tough Broncos defense that ranks fifth in aFPA to opposing wide receivers this season. We have him ranked in WR3 territory, and he definitely has upside in that role if you need some punch in your lineup. That being said, start him knowing it’s a risk in a tough matchup.

BAL WR Marquise Brown - Week 3 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 3 at Detroit Lions

Marquise “Hollywood” Brown was targeted 10 times on Sunday night against the Chiefs, catching six balls for 113 yards and a touchdown. He now has a touchdown in two straight games, and in seven of his last eight, dating back to last season. Brown has been inconsistent throughout his career, but with these kinds of targets and the way he finished 2020, fantasy managers should raise an eyebrow in his direction moving forward.

It’s a nice matchup for Brown this week against the Lions, who are missing their top corner for the season and allowed a big game to Deebo Samuel in Week 1. The Lions ranked 28th in aFPA to opposing wide receiver a year ago, and Brown has some WR2 upside in a great matchup. Start him.
