Scouting report

ATL TE Jacob Tamme - Week 12, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 vs. Minnesota
Jacob Tamme caught just 1-of-3 targets for 16 yards in the Falcons Week 11 loss to the Colts. With Leonard Hankerson back in the lineup, Tamme is an afterthought in Atlanta's offense. That said, Hankerson is out for Sunday's game against the Vikings so Tamme could be a streaming option for DFS purposes this weekend. He's ranked as our TE18 for Week 12.

ATL TE Jacob Tamme - Week 11, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 vs. Indianapolis
Jacob Tamme secured 6-of-10 targets for 61 yards in the Falcons Week 9 loss to the 49ers. Tamme has been a decent streaming option in Atlanta's last two games, but that was largely a product of Leonard Hankerson being out with a hamstring injury. With Hankerson expected back for Week 11, Tamme will revert back to being Matt Ryan's third option in the passing game. Ranked as our TE16 for Week 11, avoid Tamme versus the Colts.

ATL TE Jacob Tamme - Week 9, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 at San Francisco
Jacob Tamme caught 10-of-12 targets for 103 yards and a touchdown in the Falcons Week 8 loss to the Bucs. The targets, receptions and yardage were all season-highs for Tamme, who served as Matt Ryan's safety on check-down passes throughout the game. It was thought that Roddy White would receive a fantasy boost with Leonard Hankerson out with an injury, but it was actually Tamme who benefited most. Ranked as our TE13 for Week 9, Tamme is a streaming option for Sunday's game versus San Francisco's shaky defense. He's a risky streaming option, but a streaming option nonetheless.

ATL TE Jacob Tamme - Week 8, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 vs. Tampa Bay
Jacob Tamme caught 3-of-6 targets for 36 yards in the Falcons Week 7 win over the Titans. Atlanta's passing game has been in a three-game funk and Tamme continues to post underwhelming numbers. He ranks as our TE19 for Week 8 and should be avoided.

ATL TE Jacob Tamme - Week 7, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 at Tennessee
Jacob Tamme caught three of five targets for 32 yards in the Falcons Week 6 loss to the Saints. A week after catching eight passes for 94 yards against the Redskins Week 5, Tamme's production dipped back towards a normal line for him in 2015. Ranked as our TE17 for Week 8, Tamme should remain on your waiver wire, as he's not going to be a consistent fantasy option.

ATL TE Jacob Tamme - Week 6, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 at New Orleans
Jacob Tamme caught 8-of-10 targets for 94 yards in the Falcons Week 5 win over the Redskins. He had seven catches for 79 yards in the first two quarters, but managed to catch just one pass after halftime. With Julio Jones (hamstring) and Leonard Hankerson (ribs) banged up, Tamme could be a streaming option for owners dealing with bye week issues. Tamme ranks as our TE16 for Week 6 and has a great matchup versus the Saints 32nd-ranked fantasy defense against tight ends.

ATL TE Jacob Tamme - Week 3, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 3 at Dallas
Jacob Tamme caught 4-of-6 passes for 77 yards in the Falcons Week 2 win over the Giants. His biggest play came on a 41-yard reception with Atlanta backed up to its own goal line following an Eli Manning fumble. On that play, three Giants defenders followed Julio Jones on a dig route over the middle and left Tamme wide open down the sidelines. He doesn't receive enough volume in Kyle Shanahan's offense to be considered a reliable fantasy option. He ranks as our TE22 for Week 3 and should be avoided.
