WAS WR Jahan Dotson - Week 15 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 15 at Los Angeles Rams

Jahan Dotson finished 2-23 on five targets in Week 13. Dotson hasn't lived up to expectations this season, finishing with 30 yards or less in eight of his 13 games this year. His biggest games came when Curtis Samuel missed time due to injuries and an ejection. Dotson will be a risky WR4/WR5 option in Week 15 vs. the Rams (18th aFPA).

WAS WR Jahan Dotson - Week 13 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 vs. Miami Dolphins

Jahan Dotson had a solid outing last week, finishing 5-52 on six targets. After a slow start to the season, Dotson has started to turn it around. From Week 1 through Week 6, Dotson averaged 2.8-23.3-0.2. From Week 7 through Week 12, he's averaging 4.2-49.2-0.5. He'll look to continue that production this week as he gets a favorable matchup against the Dolphins (30th aFPA). He is a little risky considering he had a zero catch game just three weeks ago, but he's still a decent WR3 option in Week 13.

WAS WR Jahan Dotson - Week 12 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 at Dallas Cowboys

Jahan Dotson bounced back from his goose egg in Week 10 to deliver a line of 3-23-1 in Week 11. Dotson has now scored a touchdown in three of his last four games. And in all three of those games, Curtis Samuel was either out or left early. It may just be a coincidence considering Samuel isn't much of a touchdown threat himself, but it is a trend worth noting. Samuel should be back this week as the reason he left last week was due to an ejection. As for Dotson, he'll face a tough Cowboys defense that's 10th in aFPA to WRs. Dotson should be viewed in WR4 range for Week 12.

WAS WR Jahan Dotson - Week 11 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 vs. New York Giants

Jahan Dotson put up a fat goose egg last week as he failed to catch a single pass. He only saw two targets despite playing a season-high 95% of the offensive snaps. Part of Dotson's downturn in production could be explained by the return of Curtis Samuel, who saw six targets. Dotson's production went up in the two games without Samuel. Still, 0 receptions is a surprise, especially in a game where Sam Howell threw for 312 yards. Dotson should bounce back this week in a favorable matchup vs. the Giants (26th aFPA). Dotson finished 5-43 against the Giants just a few weeks ago. He should be viewed as a mid-tier WR3 option this week.

WAS WR Jahan Dotson - Week 10 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 at Seattle Seahawks

Jahan Dotson took advantage once again with Curtis Samuel being sidelined. Dotson finished 4-69-1 on eight targets. It's no coincidence that Dotson's two highest yardage outputs of the season have came in the past two weeks with Curtis (toe) being hurt. Samuel got in a limited practice session this week, so he could return, which might ding Dotson's production. But if Samuel is absent again, Dotson should see a few more looks in a favorable matchup vs. the Seahawks (26th aFPA). We like Dotson as a low-end WR2 or high-end WR3 option if Samuel is inactive in Week 10.

WAS WR Jahan Dotson - Week 9 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 at New England Patriots

Jahan Dotson came out of nowhere last week to finish 8-108-1 on 10 targets. His targets, receptions and receiving yards were all season highs. His 108-yard effort was a surprise considering he had a total of 183 receiving yards in the seven games prior to last week. Although Dotson's success was due to a few factors. The first was Curtis Samuel exiting the game early due to injury, and the second was Washington throwing the ball 52 times. We'll see if Dotson can keep the momentum going in Week 9 as he faces the Patriots. Although it'll be a tough matchup as New England is 8th in aFPA to WRs. We like Dotson as a mid-tier WR3 option in Week 9. Dotson will get a bump up if Samuel (toe) is unable to play.

WAS WR Jahan Dotson - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 vs. Philadelphia Eagles

After a goose egg in Week 6, Jahan Dotson bounced back last week and finished 5-43 on eight targets. His 43 receiving yards are a new season high for him. Overall, it's been a disappointing season for Dotson who is averaging 26.1 yards per game with just one touchdown on the year. That one touchdown did come against the Eagles, his opponent for Week 8. Still, Dotson's overall performance this season doesn't inspire much confidence. He should be viewed as a mid-tier WR4 at best this week.
